Deb Wilks introduced Terry Beatty  - Green Acres Administrator, who noted the facility opened seven years ago.  They have four different size apartments available for the residents.  There are many walking paths and lots of outdoor seating areas where you can sit and relax watching the birds at the feeders.

There are also many activities held throughout the year including the Annual Auto Show in August, Blood Drives and the Lowell Pink Arrow Day.  Visitors attend the facility on a regular basis including Impact Church, Creation Kingdom, St. Mary's Youth Program, Girl Scouts and the Lowell High School Interact Club.  Green Acres also partners with Flat River Outreach Ministries (FROM).

For those residents who are adventurous, the Green Acres bus awaits them, taking trips to lunch, shopping, concerts, movies and much more.

Currently, the Lowell facility is full and has a waiting list.
