Theresa Beachum attended the meeting to talk about the upcoming Pink Arrow XII game and
Community Day - West End Reveal that will be held on August 23, 2019 beginning at 10 a.m.
The Community Day will be at Impact Church on the West end of town. Activities include the
Lowell Community Wellness Expo, Blood Drive and Mammograms. There will also be kid's
activities, health activities, pickle ball demonstrations, concessions and a walk on the
new foot bridge over the Grand River. The Yeiter Meeting Cabin will be open for those who
want to learn about the history of Fur Trading.
All-Weather Seal will match $1 for every t-shirt sold on 8/23/2019.
The Pink Arrow Football game will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019.
Lowell vs. Greenville, Boys Soccer vs. FHC, Girls Volleyball vs. GR Christian.
T-Shirts can be purchased for $15 at Fans in the Stands, Springrove Variety, Heidi's
and My Hometown Furnishing. Don't forget to wear your t-shirt to the game as this
is your ticket in.
Beachum noted each year, more than $100,000 is raised from the event and all the
funds remain within the Lowell Community. There are over 100 families that are
supported each year, stating funds are available for counseling and grieving as well, not just cancer.
