She will be attending Cornerstone University.
Nate Stephens wrote a letter to our Club updating us on his activities
and accomplishments at Harvard University. He is starting his Junior year.

Taylor Ann Rhodes received a Paul Harris award made in honor of her from her grandmother and
fellow Rotarian Sylvia Taylor. Congratulations!
District Director Nathan Ekola and Program Specialist Luke Kelley with Boy Scouts of America
gave an update of their program, founded on February 8, 1910.
There are been many changes over the years. The mission of the Boy Scouts of America
is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by
instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
The 2019 goals are 1) enroll 3,400 youth into Scouts this year. Currently at 2,516.
2) Raise $142,000 in our Friends of Scouting Campaign. Currently at $94.628.
3) Sell $520,000 in popcorn. 4) Send 290 Cub Scouts and 614 Scouts BSA to summer camp this summer.
Programs within the Boy Scouts of America include Cub Scouting and Boy Scouting for boys and
Venturing, Exploring and Sea Scouts for Co-ed.
How can you help? Time - become a volunteer working directly with youth or serving on the district
board top help us further local programs. Resources - Always looking for meeting spaces call banks,
gift in kind donations, program supplies, warehouse space, printing, marketing etc and
Funding - become a Friend of Scouting donor or event sponsor for our fall membership drive!
