PLAUDERMEETING Hotel Post Brunico - Brunico

With the stroke of 20.00 clock, President Flaim welcomed a gratifyingly large number to members to Plaudermeeting in the typical "post-office" of the Hotel Post in Bruneck.

 

Under the rules, the President shall communicate:

- Referring to the Rotary Price 2016 reported the President, together with friend Guido Sommavilla, participated at the meeting of representatives of all RC of Trentino and South Tyrol have to determine the name of the prize winner; one has in the meantime a list of potential Candidates created. The proposal of our club, Count Ulrich Graf Toggenburg, which is particularly social area has excellent, has been included in this inner circle of candidates. In the coming weeks will then determine the winner at a subsequent meeting;

- With pleasure the President also reported that this year two students from the Puster Valley on a Student Exchange Program of Rotary have abroad (RYE = Rotary Youth Exchange), reported. Friend Hannes Moser will take care of it and soon reimburse us report;

- Further in the Annex, the writing of our governor's meeting with Pope Cecovini the planned Francis on 30.04.2016 in Rome; Interested members can look at the completed entry form our secretary convey. The applications are then forwarded to the district and of there coordinates (the trip to Rome is expected to train from Venice - the journey there would be thus organized separately).

- The President reminded again that our Club now counts 52 active members. Anyone who Suggestions has for new candidates will be asked to inform the club secretary. Especially are also Proposals for female candidates welcome;

- The President shall bring the conclusion congratulations to the friends: 13 Thaler Walter, 25^th Fellin Josef who celebrate their birthday during those weeks;

- Finally, the President made the official announcement to the true core of the evening known: the Board our RC has with enthusiasm the candidacy of our friend and former President Riccardo De Paola Governor for the Rotary year 2018-2019 approved. His candidacy gives our club corresponding reputation at the district level, on the other hand we also recognize the true Rotarian spirit to our friend Riccardo animates. The President asked the members then to opinions and expressions of opinion on this extraordinary candidacy, followed by encouragement and praise by the speeches of the pages Friends Claudio Doro, Stillebacher Gerhard, Cipparrone Andrea and Werner Flaim. At the end of the interesting statements of support the candidacy was our Friend's Riccardo De Paola unanimously elected governor for the 2018-2019 year Rotarisch adopted.

 

A warm friend Riccardo is thanked all those present for their support of his candidacy. He provides for the clothing of this office as a great honor. Should he elected to this office as friend Riccardo, he is this important task conscientiously and meet the benefit of all Rotarians. These honorable candidacy is as signs of life of our club are at the district level and our Club has internalized the ideals of Rotary. All members and editors of our communication form convey our friend Riccardo the best wishes for this new task.

 

In conclusion of the evening at 22.00 clock, reminded the President, at the upcoming meeting on

01.26.2016 to 20.00 clock in the Hotel Post in Bruneck with the presentation by Dr. Michael Atzwanger, Member of the board "Alpine Bank AG" for a very current topic:

"Where is the ECB monetary policy?"
