Branden Edwards
Maverick Stampede

Bio: An alumni of Colorado Mesa University, Branden Edwards has taken the untraditional route by turning a Music Degree into a career as an announcer for rodeos, horse shows, sporting events and many other avenues of entertainment. As an announcer and active competitor in the PRCA he has kept his finger on the pulse of the western industry and leapt at the opportunity to expand that service at his Alma Mater. An avid team roper, Branden has also served as board member and vice-president of the Colorado Professional Rodeo Association for the past 5 seasons and is the current vice president of the Mesa County Sheriff Posse. Competing at the national level since High School he understands what it means to practice and win as a participant, while his work over the last 10 years giving instruction at camps and one-on-one sessions allows him to convey those same lessons to his students and team members.

Branden currently stays involved with his community as an advocate for rodeo and the western heritage while living in Grand Junction with his wife Tia, a Colorado native who attended college on a rodeo scholarship and helps with the team in more ways than she could ever get credit for. They have one son, Grady Kent Edwards, and a new edition to the family expected for March of 2020.
