It’s back! Sample tasty African dishes, learn popular African dances, and shop in a bazaar of handmade East African crafts. The goal is to raise resources for a solar-powered irrigation system for a Maasai village in Kenya. This is meant to provide them with a long-term, sustainable solution to the ongoing drought in East Africa. The program will include information about the village and the irrigation project, along with a video message from one of the village's leaders.
Be part of a global community.
Help create a solution to a growing world problem.
Experience a fascinating culture.
Cost: $25 includes dinner and program.

Our Club is sponsoring a free day at Mesa County Fair. Club members staff a Rotary Welcome Booth near the entrance. We hand out information, give away free water, spin the wheel for prizes, register interested attendees to win a gift basket, and let people know about Rotary. This is an excellent opportunity to meet others who might be interested in Rotary.
We need volunteers to work two-hour shifts. We also need items for the gift basket.
