Flight, the Flight Preview event - Flight Migration Celebration - on October 6, and the Flight Gala event on October 21, are all moving along nicely with Annie and Vance reporting that the artists are all well underway in painting their beautiful works of art. They will be as stunning as in years past with high dollar amounts being bid for each one, I'm sure. We look forward to supporting the arts in School District 11 and all the projects and programs in our Community Service Fund's grants.
It was so nice to welcome Kathleen Saltmarsh-Voss back to the club and we hope she continues to improve and return on occasion to our meetings. Please give me updates as to members or their families whom we can support or congratulate on special occasions.
Please don't forget to use your Paul Harris points from the Rotary Foundation to either honor someone in your family or someone who has made a difference in your life. Talk to Tom Nelson about the procedure to do this. We can spread the word about Rotary to many others by making them Paul Harris Fellows.
