In Loving Memory of Dr. Schuyler (“Sky”) Foerster
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of longtime and cherished Rotary Club of Colorado Springs member, Dr. Schuyler “Sky” Foerster, Colonel, USAF (Ret.), on July 25, 2025.
Sky lived a life dedicated to service, education, and community. A retired Air Force Colonel, professor, global security expert, and civic leader, Sky’s contributions to Rotary and our broader community were immeasurable. He was a tireless advocate for peace, justice, and global understanding—embodying the true spirit of Service Above Self.
A memorial service will be held at the U.S. Air Force Academy Memorial Pavilion on September 12, 2025, at 10 a.m., with a Celebration of Life on September 13, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, Sky and his wife Janet requested donations in his memory to Imagination Celebration, a local nonprofit supporting Afghan and other refugee communities:

Wings of Change Raffle Tickets
Each year, we count on your support for our Wings of Change Fundraiser by asking members to purchase or sell at least 10 raffle tickets. This year, we’re making it even easier—with the option to purchase tickets electronically!
If you’d like to buy raffle tickets online, simply email Ed Janezek at
ed.altuswealthgroup.com and we’ll take care of the rest.
Physical tickets will also be available for pickup at our meetings
starting this week.

IMPACT Meeting
You're invited to join us at an Impact meeting!
We gather on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month from 7:30 to 8:30 AM at the Black Bear Diner on Garden of the Gods Road. It’s a great opportunity to connect with fellow Rotarians, enjoy meaningful conversation, and learn about upcoming service projects. Guests are always welcome!

Save the Date: 2025 Wings of Change Annual Fundraiser
Co-chairs Jodie Richie and Kay Rendleman invite you to be part of this year’s Wings of Change fundraiser!
The Grand Reveal will take place on Friday, August 29th at the Pioneers Museum in downtown Colorado Springs.
The Gala is set for Saturday, September 27th at the DoubleTree Hotel.
