Letter from District Governor Nominee

I am writing this afternoon to ask for your help in securing pledges for sponsorship's or donations for the District 5470 Assembly/Conference in April.  This event is one of the most expensive that the District puts on each year...roughly one-third of our membership's annual dues are required
to do this event.  Advertising sponsorship's are one way to reduce the impact of the event on the District's budget and allowing us to direct those funds into projects that will better serve humanity.  For a small, or not so small, fee a Rotarian can advertise their business to 100 to 200
Rotarians.  This is a business expense that can reduce a company's tax liability.

You may or may not have heard that the District has established a 501(c)(3) tax deductible educational entity this year with the purpose of training
our membership.  This affords us an opportunity to accept tax deductible donations from individuals or businesses.  The individual or business will
receive no benefit from the donation other than the reduction of their tax liability and a small thank you at the event. As many opportunities are available as we can create, so don't be afraid to sign up as many sponsorship's as possible.  I have attached a current list of sponsors.
