The Rotary Club of Colorado Springs’ annual FLIGHT of the butterflies will be unveiled during the First Friday Art Walk, on August 3rd, at the Cultural Office’s exhibition space from 5-8PM. The event is free and open to the public.
Join us for this premier of more than 50 “petite” butterflies designed by local artisans. These butterflies will be sold via silent auction on line and at the Rotary Club Social and Silent Auction on September 7th from 4:30-7:30 at the Antlers Hotel. Money raised goes to the Rotary Service Fund and School District 11 Arts and Science Programs.
On August 3rd, enjoy the butterflies at the Cultural Office exhibition as you sip on complimentary wine and punch and enjoy tasty appetizers. This exhibition location in the Plaza of the Rockies couldn’t be more convenient as the First Friday Shuttle Bus stops right in front of the Cultural Office as it loops its way through Colorado Springs, Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs.
If you can’t join us for the reception on August 3rd, you can enjoy the beautiful butterflies at the Cultural Office during normal business hours throughout the month of August. Then, be sure to join us for the Rotary Social and Silent Auction on September 7th at the Antlers Hotel.
