As we prepare for Memorial Day weekend, please take one minute at 3 p.m. local time on Memorial Day to observe the National Moment of Remembrance with a moment of silence to honor and remember those who have died while serving in the U.S. military. May we never forget that freedom isn't free.

Thank you to our club members who volunteered and Thank You Kris Lewis for the connection to Dusty, the PPHFH ReStore Volunteer Coordinator. The ReStore serves as a donation and recycling center that is open to the public for new and gently used building materials, furniture, appliances, and home accessories at a fraction of retail price. They are always in need of volunteers, and donations.
Next Wednesday, we will be hosting our May Social at Lost Island Mini Golf followed by beverages and food at Lost Friends Brewing Company. Find all the details HERE and register to let us know if you plan on attending.
On June 18th, the Garden of the Gods Rotary Club will be hosting a 77th Anniversary dinner. Any Rotarian is welcome to attend to celebrate with them at the Falcon Club at the Air Force Academy. The cost per person is $45 and details on where to send checks and a schedule of the evening are below.
This week we will be joined by Nate Springer, the CEO of Care and Share to provide an update on the impact Care and Share is making in Southwest Colorado.
