Hello Rotarians!

Welcome to the 2025 -2026 program year.

Rotary International is shifting away from themes towards an

overarching and unifying message.

The message this year is:

Unite for Good

New:  Antlers Parking Validation Process

The Antlers has a new parking validation process.
They will no longer be using tickets to validate at the front desk.

The new process is:

1.  Scan the QR code located at the Rotary check-in table.
2.  Enter your phone number and the license plate number of the vehicle you parked.

When you leave the Antlers parking garage, the cameras will read your license plate, and the gates will open.

Don't forget to bring your license plate number on Friday!

Tammy Baugh

Honor Flight of Southern Colorado

A proud Wisconsin native, Tammy Baugh now calls Colorado Springs home — drawn by the sunshine, mountain views, and a welcome shortage of mosquitoes.

A retired U.S. Army Aviator with 26 years of distinguished service, Tammy continues to embody the values of leadership and dedication in civilian life. She is an independent real estate investor and an active community volunteer.

Tammy has been involved with Honor Flight of Southern Colorado since 2023, first serving as volunteer coordinator and now as both treasurer and board member.

IMPACT Meeting

You're invited to join us at an Impact meeting!

We gather on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Black Bear Diner, located on Garden of the Gods Road. It’s an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow Rotarians, engage in meaningful conversations, and learn about upcoming service projects. Guests are always welcome!

National Wreaths Across America Day at Evergreen Cemetery

Join us in honoring veterans on National Wreaths Across America Day! We’ll gather at Evergreen Cemetery on Saturday, December 13th at 10:00 a.m. to lay wreaths on the graves of those who served our country.

This year, Rotary is participating in Wreaths Across America’s “$5 Back” program—for every wreath sponsored through our group, the Service Fund will receive $5 to support our own community service projects.

We’ll begin promoting wreath sponsorships in October and plan to “Adopt a Block,” setting a goal for the number of wreaths our group will sponsor and place on Wreath Laying Day.

➡️ Volunteer or Sponsor Wreaths Here

Help us remember, honor, and teach—while supporting local service initiatives!

Each year, The Salvation Army will serve more than 25 million people across America – including many here in our community. That means 55+ million meals for the hungry, 10+ million nights of shelter for the homeless, and countless Christmas gifts for children who may otherwise go without.
Make a difference with every ring, by volunteering with The Rotary Club of Colorado Springs to Ring the Bell! The funds you raise as a Salvation Army bell ringer will make a year-round impact in your community through social services assistance, homeless shelters, disaster relief, children’s programs, rehabilitation services, anti-human trafficking, and more.
Donations in the red kettle stay local – directly impacting the lives of your neighbors by helping them in their time of need. When you ring the bell, you’re making change happen.

Our Club has reserved 4 days to Ring the Bell in November and December at two different locations. Sign up in groups of 2-3 for a shift below or go to Register to Ring to select other times available. Please let us know if you ring during another time so we can keep track of all volunteer hours.

🎁 Columbia Christmas Project – Gift Wrapping

Help bring a special Christmas to families at Columbia Elementary! Join your fellow Rotarians in shopping for and wrapping gifts for six families (13 children) selected by the school’s health technician. Shoppers will be reimbursed up to $100 per child by the Community Service Fund after receipts are submitted. In addition, our club will provide $100 gift cards to 23 families in need.

Volunteers may wrap their gifts independently and drop them off to Samantha Chapman before December 8th, or join us for a festive wrapping get-together and fellowship on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 1–4 PM at the home of Cindy Alexander, 1321 Foothills Farm Way, Colorado Springs, 80921.

All are welcome — the more wrappers, the merrier! 🎀
