Have you tried the ClubRunner app on your smart phone? I was having a challenge with mine accessing member information so I called our friends in Canada where ClubRunner is located. For IOS (Apple) phones, go to the member page, put your finger at the top of the screen, and swipe down. That solved the problem for me on my IPhone.
Don't forget about next week's Peace & Understanding Luncheon at noon, Friday, February 24th, at The Cheyenne Mountain Resort. This takes the place of our regular meeting at The Antlers. The speaker will be Dr. Deonna Neal -- "Ethics and the Military". Cost for the luncheon is $20, payable at the door (not included in your quarterly invoice).
This Friday's meeting will include a report by our Service Fund Director, Tom Naughton, on our Service Fund activity in 2016. We'll also have a presentation by Rotarian Biff Morehead, owner of Smiling Toad Brewery, on the craft brewing industry. We had originally planned a short presentation on our Nicaragua Service Project visit that took place last month. We've decided to delay that until early May to allow for a more comprehensive report on the visit and possible outcomes for the future.
Our next meeting will take place at 5:30pm on Wednesday, March 8th, at Johnny Martin's Car Central located at 1 S. Nevada Ave. #110. All members are welcome!
Rotary Prime is starting a new monthly service project in which we will provide breakfast to some of our local veterans at VFW Post 4051. If you would like to join us for this visit or any future monthly visit, please contact Rotarian Samantha Chapman at SamanthaC@sentinelsoffreedom. org.
Rotary Prime is looking for Classic members to volunteer to sit on a panel to take place at Rotary's regularly scheduled meeting on Friday, March 24th. Panel members will take questions from moderators in order to share their experiences with regard to balancing the responsibilities of their respective professions while still maintaining happy and healthy personal lives. We want to hear about your challenges, successes, and lessons learned. If you'd like to volunteer to be a part of this panel, please contact Ashley Lawrence at prime@ coloradospringsrotary.org or Kathleen Saltmarsh-Voss at ksaltmarshvoss@yahoo.com.
