The tickets for the Flight Gala will be going on sale very soon so make plans to buy yours early. There will be an incentive to buy them sooner rather than later as the price will increase if you wait until the last minute! I would like to see all of our Rotarians and spouses/significant others to come to the Broadmoor on October 21st as well as your friends. We will have sponsorships of tables available, as well, so that you can sit with your friends and others with more room at the table and with special treats for your table guests and you, too!
This year, we will be having our Flight Migration Celebration at the Pioneers' Museum on October 6th, which will also be a highlight of the Gala festivities in the afternoon and early evening. All the butterflies will be there to view, along with the artists. It is free and open to the public.
How many of you have purchased butterflies in the past? I know of one member who has purchased four of them, keeping a couple for himself and generously giving the other two away. Now that is in true Rotary Spirit! You will be able to purchase tickets for the Gala and also purchase raffle tickets at our regular meetings starting soon.
Here we are at our meeting for August 11 when we will have lots of guests there. Thank you all for inviting others to share the Rotary experience!
Juliana Howard sent the following to us to announce that Romi is now in the U S of A:
Romana (Romi) Bogarova arrived from Slovakia on Sunday afternoon. She is staying with our Rebound student, Annie Nikolaus and her family.
We are still looking for two more host families for Romi during her stay. We will need everyone to help find families who want to experience another culture in their own home while making a difference in her life this year. Romi will be at our meeting on Friday, along with our student whom we sent abroad.

Romi will attend Discovery Canyon High School starting on Monday the 14th and will be in Colorado through the end of the school year in May 2018.
You will get a chance to meet Romi at this Friday's Rotary meeting -- please give her a warm welcome to her new home.
