The Rotary Club of Boston #7 is proud to announce that

ShelterBox's first shipment of Alphabet Dice are headed to LEBANON

Our Club's Alphabet Fitness Outreach Program has donated 5,000 children's Alphabet dice games to be included in Shelter Box's Educational Kits for young disaster survivors worldwide. ShelterBox instantly responds to earthquake, volcano, flood, hurricane, cyclone, tsunami or conflict by delivering boxes of aid to help families rebuild their lives after losing everything in a disaster. These innovative and physically interactive Alphabet dice (www.alphabetfitness.org) offer a means for children taking refuge in ShelterBox tents to reduce stress and build comradarie, while playfully learning the fundamentals of the English Alphabet. As Rotary International's new global partner, these games will now be dispersed globally through ShelterBox's five UN distribution centers (www.Shelterbox.org). We are most proud to be able to play a role in this remarkable humanitarian partnership.  The generosity of your donations will help ensure a supply of 5,000 dice games continues to get distributed through ShelterBox's Kids' Educational Kits worldwide each year.  We, and the children, thank you all so very much for your support.  (Please forward to ALL your friends!!)  If you encounter any difficulties making a payment, please contact PayPal Customer Service at 1-888-221-1161

NOTE: Colonel James Brown joined us as an Honorary Member in 2010 while a US Army SSC Fellow at the Fletcher School of Diplomacy, Tufts University, MA. In appreciation of the sacrifices made by the families of our military forces, he will be spearheading the Rotary's development of the Alphabet Fitness program for US Military child care centers and Preschool-K classes worldwide. As a great leader in the Civil Affairs Branch of the US Army we look forward to his building a far-reaching relationship for Rotarians that includes literacy and peacemaking.
