Information for Speakers:

Rotary International is a worldwide service organization that is active in more than 160 countries and is made up of more than 34,000 Clubs with 1.2 million members.  The purpose of Rotary is to serve the community and to promote world peace through international understanding. 

Our club is the seventh oldest club in the world, founded in 1909, and known as Club #7. 

Club Meeting:  Our meetings consist of a monthly speaker with lively conversation followed by club business.  Meetings are held the third Thursday of the month from 5:30pm - 6:30pm at Fisher College - Trustees Library - 118 Beacon Street, Boston, MA 02116. 

Parking: We recommend the parking at the meters or the Boston Common Garage.

Agenda: The meeting is a small group format and the audience is made up of local and international people.  After the networking, introductions and lunch, your 30-minute presentation will start at 5:45pm and should end at 6:15pm.

Publicity: Your appearance will be announced on our website www.bostonrotary.org,

We request the following items be sent a month in advance of your presentation.

  1. A head shot or logo in .jpg format
  2. A short write up about the talk for the websites
  3. An suggested introduction to be read at the meeting
  4. We can provide a large TV screen. If possible, email your video or PowerPoint presentation in advance to communications@bostonrotary.org
