Lanie Mireles presents certificates to presenters Dave Tecklenberg and Kathleen La Cost.On September 27 Lanie Mireles's guests, Dave Tecklenberg, Lamar School Superintendent, and Kathleen La Cost from Lamar Education Association, presented on the upcoming Lamar School District ballot issue - 4A. Attendees learned the bond would be a match to a grant and would provided needed upgrades and security for the schools. No positions would be funded. A number of Rotarians spoke out in favor and took materials and yard signs to help promote a yes vot.
