Dr. Sylvia Sekhon, MA, and Practicing Pediatrician - Scientific Research, Ages 0 to 5, and Implications for K-12 and Life
School is often defined as K-12 years, plus college. WRONG! Critical learning occurs from the moment of conception, through pregnancy, and the first five years of life. That is where the foundation of cognitive and social-emotional development first occurs in humans and cannot be fully “fixed” subsequently when “errors and omissions” occur in the pre-school years of life.
Dr. Sekhon is a practicing pediatrician in St. Paul, Minnesota Health Clinics. She also teaches in the University of Minnesota Medical School. Her passion is to give all babies and youth 0 to 5 years of age the right start in life because those beginning years are critical to the whole of life.

Realizing Potential - Michele Jansen One can easily look at a human being who has, by society's standards, failed in some aspect of their life. Do you really see potential in every child, every human being? Or do you dismiss some, by thinking they don't have any chance at meeting any kind of potenial?
