I am a singer, songwriter, producer, and performer from Alaska, currently living in Anchorage. I am passionate about creating and performing world class pop music, and putting Alaska on the map as a music monster. I am most inspired by Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Train, and Ed Sheeran. I play primarily with my band, and dream to one day headline a major national concert-tour.

For over 75 years, students and host families have broadened their horizons through Rotary Youth Exchange. More than 80 countries and over 8,000 students each year participate in the program, which is administered at the regional level by Rotary districts and at the local level by Rotary clubs.

My educational background includes a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Rochester, as well as a master of science degree in counseling psychology and a doctor of psychology degree from Alaska Pacific University. Deputy Administrator for the City of Wasilla.

Lyn Carden was not born in Alaska, but the military sent her family here three different times, thus solidifying Wasilla was the place for her! Lyn has been around the world, working in many different fields and living in many different geographical locations. One thing is for certain - Wasilla is home!

For many years, Lyn was the CEO of the Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce, which provided her the chance to become more connected to her community. Whether it was past media curiosity and the eyes of the world on Wasilla, or facilitating the largest July 4th parade in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley year-after-year, she loves what she does. Over the years, she has had the honor to serve the United States during Operation Iraqi Freedom, and has staffed the office of the Wasilla House Representative during the 28th Legislative Session. Lyn enjoys working with the citizens of the City of Wasilla to help create a great place to live, work and play.
