Welcome:  To our two newest members, Leah Bisson and Julie Pappalardo. Both were fined by Tom Brady so they are “officially in”.  

Christmas Auction:  Ron asked for help on this important fun, fundraising event.  Many of us have experience with one or more parts of the evening so please step forward.  The funds are used for such a great cause in our community.

Roadside Cleanup:  Christina announced the date and time, Saturday November 2nd starting at 9AM. If you want to do breakfast prior to, we will meet at the Candy Apple at 8AM. Otherwise meet at the Akron Firehouse at 9. Some Interact Club members will be assisting.

Rotary District 7090 Youth Conference:  Four of our Interactors attended this excellent conference at Niagara On The Lake.  Our students made some wonderful contacts. Marlene Gehl, Youth Services Director and Christina, Interact advisor accompanied the students.  Thanks Marlene and Christina.

ACS Food Drive:  Lisa Lucenti announced that high school students will be conducting a food drive. Food bags will be dropped off to homes from November 2nd-8th with November 9th the day the food will be taken to the South Newstead Food Pantry.  Help is especially needed on November 9th.  I’m sure our Interactors are involved.

Programs:  We need ideas due to Steve Mule being “out of the loop” for a while.   If you do identify someone please check their availability and contact Ron to schedule.  

Program Today:  Interact members Shanna Blochwitz and Hannah McMahon shared their experiences in the Rotary Short Term Exchange Program this past summer.  Shannon traveled to the Netherlands and Hannah to Italy.
