We have returned to Zoom Meetings as of today, December 10th 2020.
Dues are due! Please mail your checks to Paul or bring them to the in-person meeting.
Program:
Update on the Angel Tree:
Blanket tying was a success to start of the project.
Gift distribution and organization has been completed and we are good to go.
This has been one of our most successful Angel Tree efforts to date.
We would like to thank the Lions club for their contributions to this project as well.
The online function and social media outreach was very successful and allowed us to outreach to new people.
Post Holidays: we will send out a thank you to those who contributed and also issue a press release.
We had a total of 69 families this year! Each family got gifts for the children along with a $100 gift card to Pixley's and $50 in cash to the parents.
This Christmas party and gift exchange has been delayed. We may rebrand it as an Easter Party or St. Patrick's Day Party. We can still look forward to a day of fellowship with a charitable focus. Keep some ideas in mind!
Bike Path Shelter:
The shelter on the bike path has been placed. It is a beautiful Rotary blue and offers us the opportunity for future projects
Andy is also planning for an engraved boulder that we can place by the shelter and fountain.
Depot Project:
The village has given us a green light. The next step is to come up with a design and some cost estimates. We would need to get an architect and engineer for the segment of the project.
Paul will be drafting a document with the design intent to then present.
Upcoming Dates:
We will continue to have meetings via Zoom until our break for the holiday's. Keep an eye on your email for updates!
