Dues are due! Please mail your checks to Paul or bring them to the in-person meeting.
Thank you to everyone who assisted with making the Virtual Raffle such a success!
Program:
Split Club winner: Herm
Raffle:
We are estimating to have made roughly $29,000 from the Virtual Raffle:
$2,500 from tri-fold sponsors
$7,000 from event sponsors
$20,000 from in person and online ticket sales
Huge thank you to Anne and Courtney- this would not have been possible with all their hard work!
We did a great job for this being our first go at this type of event but we will welcome any ideas for improvement! Here are some of the things we are thinking of:
Live donation component
More scripted announcements and information about the club
Improved technology so we can potentially stream videos of our projects during breaks or add music.
Christmas Auction:
The Christmas Auction is only two months away!
The focus right now is on the Angel Tree and how we will transition it to be done virtually.
As per current NYS regulations, we can only have 50 people at one event so we will be approaching the Christmas Auction with this in mind.
The auction itself may be paired down and we will looking at using revenue from the Virtual Raffle to fund our normal Christmas projects.
Bike Path:
We will be adding a boulder and plaque by the new fix-it station indicating that this was a Rotary project.
The Foundation approved the funding for the shelter to be placed at Akron Junction. We have placed a deposit and the shelter should be in place within 4-5 weeks.
