Announcements: 
  • Dues are due! Please mail your checks to Paul or bring them to the in-person meeting. 
Program:
  • Split Club Winner: Forrest Wood (Pete's grandkids are on a lucky streak!) 
  • Service Projects
    • The club has decided to move forward with one service project a month to take place during our regular meeting time. 
    • First Project: No-sew blankets on November 19th
      • ​​​​​​​We will be getting the materials in advance and making the blankets during the meeting. We are aiming to make 10 blankets. 
      • If you have any new members you would like to bring to a meeting, this is a good meeting to bring them to!
    • Potential Project Ideas: 
      • ​​​​​​​Wreath making to decorate at Christmas time.
      • Cards for Veterans or residents of local nursing homes. 
      • Food packaging 
      • If you have any other ideas, please pass them alone to Andy or Leah!
  • Angel Tree
    • ​​​​​​​Christina has identified 43 families through the school for the Angel Tree. 
    • We are looking to have a list finalized by the first meeting in November.
    • We are looking to have potentially involve other local clubs and organizations to see if they are willing to adopt some angels. 
    • Patty has figured out how to allow people to adopt and angel online. We will be promoting this through Facebook.
  • Our Christmas Party
    • ​​​​​​​We are considering having a white elephant or Secret Santa gift exchange during our Christmas gift. 
    • We are still aiming to have our normal wrapped gift auction. 
  • Rotary Buddies
    • ​​​​​​​Leah and Andy will be re-doing the Rotary Buddy list. Stay tuned!
  • Cheryl is selling tickets to the Lady's Legion Raffle. Contact her if you would like to buy tickets!
