Henry Crosby is an advocate for change.  He works to improve the lives of others daily.  As the Executive Director of the Greater Twin Cities YMCA, Equity Innovation Center, Henry establishes corporate and nonprofit partner relationships to promote a suite of innovative equity leadership products and programs at the YMCA.  We will meet at the Equity Innovation Center to learn more about how it creates transformational experiences to build awareness, develop leaders and accelerate change.

The Alzheimer's Assocaition is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, suport and research.  Its mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and suport for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.  Susan Spalding, the Executive Director of the Alzheimer's Association of Minnesota-North Dakota will speak to us about the good work undertaken to help meet this mission.

With 20 years of experience working with children, teens, and families in youth outreach, domestic and foreign missions, and as a police officer, Jessica brings first-hand information and experience to the issue of juvenile sex trafficking. Jessica served 12 years in law enforcement as a patrol officer and as an undercover officer in human trafficking and narcotics investigations. Currently, she is the lead facilitator of A.C.T. United, a juvenile sex trafficking awareness, and outreach ministry, of Church on the Hill, Chaska, MN.

Days for Girls volunteers and enterprises have reached more than ONE MILLION women and girls around the world who now have more days of opportunity, dignity, and health thanks to Days for Girls menstrual health solutions and education— making sure that every single day of her life counts. When we mobilize girls and women through health and education opportunities, their communities and our world grow stronger. Pads are a simple thing that helps girls go to school and women go to work. Judy Johnson of the Maple Grove Rotary will be speaking about the project which provides a washable/reusable product for use during menstrual cycles, enabling girls and women to attend school/work during menstruation when they otherwise could not.

As Director of Economic Policy and Development, David Frank manages CPED’s division of Economic Policy and Development which includes the department’s divisions of Business Development, Business Licensing, and Minneapolis Employment and Training. Some of the key programs run by these divisions include Great Streets, which cultivates and sustains Minneapolis’ commercial districts through systematic programming, the Business Technical Assistance Program (B-TAP), which provides business consulting services to support new business development, retention and growth to small and medium sized businesses, and STEPUP, Minneapolis’ jobs program for youth ages 14-21.

Tom Gump is the former president of the Rotary Club of Edina/Morningside, which makes boosting memebership a priority.  During his 2016-17 stint as club president, Edina/Morningside added 31 members, eleven of which were women and 10 were under 40 years old.  Tom's 10 tips to attract and retain members was featured in Rotary International's monthly magazine.  Tom will share his insights with our club.
