Please join other Rotarians and Kodet Architectural Group, Ltd. on Saturday, Sept. 15, at MOA for Canstruction 2018! Canstruction(r) is the construction of creative structures made of canned goods to benefit Second Harvest Heartland food shelf. Our theme this year is "Button up Hunger," based on the children's book, Corduroy.
Canstruction(r) Event at Mall of America (Main Rotunda)
Dates:
*Saturday, September 15th - 10:00 a.m. - approx. 5:00 p.m. - Team Canstruction Building
(Likely to be 1 hour building shifts; more detailed schedule to follow after practice build)
Monday, September 17th - 6:00 p.m. - Team Awards Event (This will be an informal gathering with teams to announce awards. Food and drink will be provided and it will be held at an MOA restaurant. Exact location TBD.)
Monday, September 17th - 7:00 p.m. - Decanstruction
(Help us pack all of the cans so they can be delivered to Second Harvest Heartland)
*Participants must be 18+ to participate in the Team Canstruction Building at MOA.
Note that you don't need to be building on the competition day at MOA to participate in the practice build, and vice versa. If you are interested in doing the practice build or helping to build at the Mall of America, please email Ken Stone at kstone@kodet.com.
