Book it to the Parks Day

City of Lakes Rotary was invited to participate in Book It to the Parks Day, sponsored by the Minneapolis Foundation, the Minneapolis Parks and Little Free Library. To celebrate MPR’s 50th anniversary, the Foundation provided 50 Little Free Libraries to Minneapolis parks, so kids will have ready access to books all year long.  It was a beautiful day to read to the families, cut the ribbon on the new libraries and watch the excited kids explore the contents.
