Guests: Rotarians were joined for a pot luck dinner by Meghan Martin and Lyn Lunsted of the Flamborough Archives and Heritage Society.

Meghan Martin, vice-president of the Flamborough Heritage Society, provided an engaging and entertaining presentation on how the local non-profit organization has been working for the past 50 years to preserve local history, which she describes as "incredibly fragile". Meghan stressed that our history is a living, breathing thing that should be accessible to the community. She outlined how the FHS and the Archives work to digitize its collection and educate the community about local history. She encourage club members to look for her new social media campaign, featuring "Marshall the Heritage Hound", which makes history more engaging. Flamborough Archivist Lyn Lunsted urged members who have photos and from the 1980s and '90s to consider donating materials to the archives.

President Kevin Smoke led the opening ceremonies with the Land Acknowledgement; Bob Allen provided music for O Canada and led the 4 Way Test and Peter Ronalds introduced guests and gave the table order.
Jeff Partridge reminded members that the Bike Rodeo takes place Saturday, June 5 at Memorial Park.
President Kevin announced that there will be Community Service committee meetings on June 3, June 9 and June 17 to discuss Community Grant applications, funding requests and Bursary applications.
Amber Kosubovich appealed for a help driving Giogio to Niagara-on-the-Lake this Friday - thanks to Karen Matthews for stepping up!
Ribfest Steering Committee co-chair Jeff Kleven reminded members that volunteers and captains are still needed for some areas. There will also be a Fortinos day to promote Ribfest, with volunteers needed at the store, tentatively on June 20.
Karen Matthews announced that Imagine in the Park, which our club supports, is looking for volunteers this weekend.
