President Kevin Smoke opened the meeting with the Land Acknowledgement, Amber Kosubovich led us in the 4-Way Test and the invocation and Paul Durnan welcomed our guests.
Jeff Partridge announced the bike rodeo will take place June 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.. Volunteers are needed to help with admin, helmet fittings, etc. Please contact Jeff to let him know how you can help.
Sue Collins, youth exchange counsellor for Sophie Blain, gave an update on her adventures in Denmark, while inbound exchange student Giogio Pezzotti provided an update on her recent activities.
Nick Brown, current exchange host, announced that club member Mark Cashin offered to host Giogio for dinner; he also suggested club members can include Giogio in meals or other activities.
Nick also announced the golf tournament is May 27. He'll send around a poster soon.
Jeff Kleven (via Nick) provided a Ribfest sponsor update: so far $60,000 has been raised and the steering committee is looking for more connections with local businesses.
Nic Freeman reminded club members that 100% of all revenues from Jersey Mike's on March 25 will be donated to Food4Kids Hamilton.

Sue Collins introduced speaker Michelle Stark, a former lawyer who owns Winterhill Farm in Greensville with her husband Tim. Michelle spoke about her memoir, Broken, which explores the shocking truth behind the dog breeding industry and her very personal journey as a dog owner.

Sue enjoyed a recent trip to Curacao. She was also thankful for this week's guests.
Kim Piper was proud that Justin received a Paul Harris Award from the Flamborough AM Club.
Kevin enjoyed a week away with his family on a cruise, but sad since it will be the last time both kids will have the same March Break.
Nick is happy to have Giogio staying at their house, and happy for a trip to Quebec City with Marianne, and happy about a new vehicle.
Melissa Halliwell is happy the photo of her on the website was updated.
Nic was also happy to pay a 'tire tax' (happy buck) for his new truck.
