1. President Brenda Jefferies welcomed everyone to the meeting and made several announcements:
   1. Irene Carr's honorary membership to the club has been approved - congratulations, Irene!
   2. The club's second Little Free Library is now operating on Braeheid Ave. and all books are now stamped with the Rotary logo. Still searching for someone to replace the one on John Street as Glenn Sherwood is unable due to health.
   3. Reminder the treasurer Norm Read has sent out the invoices for club dues. The amount is the same as last year, at $300, and payable in one or two instalments.
2. Youth Exchange Officer Garry Flood introduced the teens who attended our meeting. Victoria Smoke is paired with Sara Lajoigne Lechat of Niort, France and Nikhil Bottu is paired with Edoardo Caresani of Como, Italy (and yes, he lives near George Clooney's estate!). In August, Victoria will be spending a few weeks in France and Nikhil will be headed for Italy.
3. Foundation Chair Jeff Kleven announced the the District has approved the Dos Corrientes project to install security systems to ensure the safety of workers at the training facility we previously supported.
4. President Brenda reminded members we will need a small working group of volunteers to organize the Seniors' Corn Roast this year. Brenda has a shopping list of supplies.
