1. President Brenda Jefferies welcomed everyone to the meeting and made several announcements:
   1. Kudos: to Garry Flood (and Sue Collins) and Lena Aggus for coordinating the short term youth exchange this summer and to Wendy Hickey for hosting tonight.
   2. Margot Rae's husband Ron has kindly offered to replace the LFL in front of the clubhouse! Community service has approved up to $300 to cover the cost of materials.
   3. Our club is turning 70 in 2025! We are starting an anniversary committee to  plan something special – could include a formal dinner, a major project, or series of events. Those interested in volunteering on the committee, please connect with Sue Collins.
   5. Volunteers are needed to work with the August POD and Community Service on the Seniors’ Corn Roast
   6. Paul Harris event is scheduled for Sept. 30 – we need volunteers to organize the event and select this year’s recipients!
   7. Volunteers are needed to help out with the Rotor…Brenda will train anyone who’s interested on the Clubrunner bulletin function!
2. Guest Bob Morrow thanked the club for our donation to the Dundas Sunrise Club for their MAKTABA project which has opened a library in Kenya.
