Wow - what a presentation! Those of you in attendance were wowed by the great presentation of Jayanna Patel.  Her goal of being a criminal investigator was well researched and presented in a mature and well thought out way.  

She fielded both questions and input with great maturity and composure.  This is a superstar we need to keep our eye on!  She is also well accomplished in the area of service.  Congratulations to her and her family.

 

 

 

This was another record week at the Sunday Food Pantry. There were over 150 families and over 500 people served.  Amazing.

 

We want to send a special shout out to the volunteers from the church who supported us in a big way at our Pasta Dinner.  Many showed up and "ate" to support us!

 

At the dinner we had a brief discussion with D'Maris who mentioned that she needed breakfast cereal for kids at the pantry.  This was relayed to Diane at Branchburg Rotary- this resulted in a 4th quarter Field Goal win for the Branchburg Rotary - (oops no - that was the KC Chiefs at the Super Bowl) never the less, we came through with flying colors. Diane found that ShopRite was having a phenomenal sale on Honey Nut Cheerios and with just a few days - had a "team" of shoppers purchase 108 boxes of cereal from the club, which were delivered to the pantry and distributed today!

 

 

 

Monday night at 6 pm there is a club Board Meeting at Il Forno - do NOT forget to thank Guiseppe for such a wonderful event last week.  He worked hard for us!

We all received a direct request from the District Special Advisor - Julia Phelps for disaster relief.  This will be addressed as a club at the Board meeting, but if you want to participate personally, these groups have been vetted by Rotary.
