About RideWise

RideWise is one of New Jersey's eight designated transportation management associations (TMA). 
 
The agency is an independent, 501(c)3 organization that is funded through grants from the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA), the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT), NJ TRANSIT, United Way of Northern New Jersey and other donations and small grants. 
 
The governing Board of Directors is made up of representatives from the public and private sector. 
 
The agency's mission is to develop sustainable travel alternatives that help to improve mobility, reduce traffic and decrease carbon emissions.  RideWise serves the greater Somerset County area and shares office space with the Somerset County Business Partnership in Bridgewater.
