PETS TRAINING WAS THIS WEEKEND
Maria D, Maria A both attended all sessions for PETs training.  Julie came for dinner on Friday - it was really a nice showing and the speakers were great. Eighty people showed from our District which is a record, 75% of Presidents showed.
Plenty of Rotary Learning was done and lots of networking.

We saw good information on Flags for Heroes - and it was sent and gathered for Sam and Louis.

The President Nominee from Brazil was present and was participating in the sessions. He was the keynote speaker twice. The Maria's will both report on what they learned!

EASTER BAGS FOR THE SENIORS AT
WHITON HILLS
Seven bags were assembled for the seniors at Whiton Hills for the holiday.  There were toiletries, kitchen essentials, and of course food that Maria D picked up from the Church last weekend.
The bags are packed full and we know from previous experience that they will be greatly appreciated.

SUNDAY FOOD PANTRY
Last week they were worried that the numbers were off because of changes in the way people lined up.  However, this week proved that theory wrong.
The numbers this week were amazing:
203 Families
The AAAA team was moving and grooving - and of course there was enough food to share with all involved.

ROTARY TRAINING
There are a many in person and on-line trainings for Rotarians.
Some are available on the websites, some are required.

One of the best trainings is RLI- Rotary Leadership Institute was founded by our very own David Linett.  David was the founder of our club and a Somerville Rotarian.  His wife was a charter member of our club.
This Rotary Training comes in multiple parts, the basics are Parts I, II, III, and then there are graduate courses for those who would like to further their training.  The club covers the cost of this training and encourages both seasoned and new Rotarians to attend.  This training truly gives you the understanding of what an amazing organization Rotary is - and also gives you the background for working with the international community, and also meeting with others you get ideas for new and exciting projects.

The District Training Assembly is a MUST for all incoming officers - to be trained in their upcoming positions and to hear from our incoming Governor their vision for the future.
