MEETING 12/3/24
The Veterans support Dinner was amazing. We had 46 attendees, and it was a fun evening. We missed those of you who could not attend. We distributed with the aid of our Veterans Network and our very generous Match $150,000 for veteran's causes in NJ.
We figured out that we have given out approximately $897,000 Thus far to the veterans causes. We should be immensely proud of what we have accomplished.
This year instead of "paying" for dinner, each guest was asked to bring a $20 toy for tots. This resulted in a mountain of generosity. Joe Leone picked it all up on Wednesday, and delivered it with our best wishes for a Happy Holiday to Toys for Tots.
We were also very fortunate to have our District Governor, Jeannie Tsukomoto, our DGE Bob Law, and our DGN Joe Nastus and his wife Carla attend. Jeannie presented us with the 2023-2024 Polio Club Giving award. Clubs that give $1,500 and each member gives to polio are given this award. Congratulations to US!
