Well, it was a miserable weekend -But we rallied anyway!

 

The rain held off on Saturday, and a few brave souls turned out to collect over 50 bikes and quite a few sewing machines.  Dan's presence was missed, but Lee showed up to be the Matyola presence at the event.

Thankfully, the motorcycle run was called off on Thursday, BEFORE all the cooking and final preparations started in ernest. We were happy to wake up to the sound of rain this morning. That would insure that even if we missed a spot of advertising, no one was showing up to ride a motorcycle in that weather. Now we have to advertise the heck out of the new date!

 

The raffle went off at 3 pm at the Central Jersey Airport as it was supposed to. We gathered and three tickets were drawn.  The grand prize winner was actually there and was thrilled.  The third prize winner was a ticket sold on a Friday night in Somerville, totally surprised to win!! A message was left with the second prize winner on the phone - yet to hear back.

Thank you to everyone who sold tickets - we sold, $11,890 in raffle tickets.  Excellent job everyone.
