Thank you from all of us to the Scholarship Committee and especially Diane.

 The improvement to the scholarship program is something we should all be very proud of.  The committee put in long hours and Diane put in a lot of work putting together the presentation and the power point.  It looked professionally done and it made us all proud to stand up and be counted as a Branchburg Rotarian.

Presentations at the SHS award night 6/1

 

First, Thoughts and Prayers to Jim McGrady who is in the hospital.  We wish him a speedy recovery.

 

The volunteers at the church continue to amaze - they have started to work on Saturdays to be ready for Sunday.  Today the line was out the door and down the block.

A record was hit today:

 

Our favorite delivery Rotarian - Chip - brought Dan and Lee Lobster rolls last week.  Nothing says get better soon than a really good lobster roll!!  Dan - we need you back! Get well quickly.

 

Maria started distributing raffle tickets for the District raffle.  This is an easy fundraiser for us - Sell a ticket - we make $9.95 and the odds of winning are very good. They only sell about 8,000 tickets and give out over 60 prizes.  Everyone should be trying to sell these tickets.  Billy will be presenting an easy way to sell them on Wednesday.  If that does not entice you to show up, what will!!

 

Saturday, June 24th 11-5 - we are going to need help. If you can't attend, consider getting replacement people for you.  Maybe you know a student who needs NHS or Confirmation hours, or a neighbor who can't be a member but has said - if you need help let me know. Get a name an email address and a phone number and let us know.

 

FRIDAY JUNE 9TH 

Everyone likes to give out Scholarships - we are all so proud when we do.  This is the opportunity to raise the money to do so next year.  ADS, ADS, ADS - WE NEED YOU TO SOLICIT ADS.  The only way to have a successful night is to have the support of the community behind us!!
