ANNUAL SPAGHETTI DINNER TO BENEFIT THE FOUNDATION AND CLUB
YEAR IS OFF TO A GREAT START
We had a great meeting last week.  Lots of discussion of upcoming events and activities.
Please read the minutes as they will keep you all abreast of the dates and times of all events.

SPAGHETTI DINNER
1- I apologize for so many flyers coming out to get ad sponsors.  In my attempt to get them all to you last week there were a few errors.  Thanks to the proof readers who caught the problems and they are fixed.
2- Thank you to Maria A for the beautiful flyer presented above, and to Mike F for setting up the eventbrite site.
3- We have 2 ads sold already - please everyone try to get those ads in early so Val can put them together.  If anyone just wants the same ad - let me know - we already have the artwork.
4- As far as tickets - we will take names and money if you sell anything - If you would like a printed ticket - let me know - I will make some up to sell - just as easy.
5- The ad journal will be the foundation portion, the dinners will be the club portion.  Please plan your Sunday dinner with us ask your friends.  This will be another fun program!!
6- We will be needing help - but we will be more careful how we ask this year - we have a much better idea of how many hands needed on deck.

HUNGER RELIEF
It is a cliche but hunger knows no holiday.  Our A Team was out in force and our friends at the church really worked at it today.
   191 families
629 clients total for the day

Truly amazing, week after week!!

Each month Rotary has a theme.
January is Vocational Service Month
It is the one thing that Rotary does differently than any other service organization.  It is unique to us.

Vocational Service focuses on:

  • Adherence to and promotion of the highest ethical standards in all occupations, including fair treatment of employers, employees, associates, competitors, and the public.
  • The recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, not just those that are pursued by Rotarians.
  • The contribution of your vocational talents to solving the problems of society and meeting the needs of the community.
How can we as a club extend or improve our Vocational Service to the community?
