OUR COATS FOR KIDS DISTRICT GRANT IN PROGRESS!!

HAPPY DECEMBER!!

We are off and running.

HOLIDAY HAPPINESS

This program is in full swing and next Saturday the 17th is the all-day collection at ShopRite in Branchburg. All hands-on deck and Diane has the signup sheet.

Thanks to all of you who have stood outside in the cold to collect for those in need.

THIS WEDNESDAY NO MORNING MEETING

THE MEETING IS THE CHRISTMAS PARTY AT STONY BROOK GRILLE 6pm

ROTARIANS ARE FREE -

SPOUSES and GUESTS $35.

All are welcome.

If you are so inclined - the PTO has requested gift cards for Amazon, DSW, & Burlington Coat Factory. I am sure that any gift card would be appreciated. Please bring them with you on Wednesday night to the party so that we can get them delivered by Friday for distribution by Christmas.

CHRISTMAS FOOD BAGS

Diane and Billy have once again put the magic together for 20 families for Christmas food bags. There are 20 hams in the freezer and Diane has purchased all the canned goods at an incredible $.50 each and SHE packed the PRIMIO bags that we had on hand from BINGO days. Thank you, Diane for making us look so good, and for taking the time to do all that shopping and packing.

STOCKINGS FOR THE ELDERLY AT

WHITON HILLS

7 Christmas Stockings were filled with toothpaste, toothbrushes, a back scrubbie for the shower, dawn dish soap, a new dishtowel, a pack of 10 pens, deodorant, and a bar of soap.

We were made aware of these "people in need" at Thanksgiving. Personal product stockings will be supplied by "Branchburg Rotary Santa" for Christmas.

The Rotary Foundation is OUR Charity of choice. It has the highest rating on Charity Navigator. $.97 of every dollar donated goes to Charity. $.03 is used to run Rotary International.

At this time of year - if you are looking for a Charitable donation - why not go to Rotary.org, log into your member account and donate. So simple really. The money donated does good throughout the world. This is what funds our District and Global grants. Every Rotarian should be considering a yearly donation.

Learn about the foundation, by going to Rotary.org and click around a bit. You will be amazed, and it will make you even more proud to be a Rotarian.
