There has been some discussion about the ST-9 for the Foundation.  The form that says we do not have to pay sales tax. We do not have one.

We had one when the foundation was the Branchburg Rotary Scholarship Foundation. When we changed the name of the Foundation to the Branchburg Rotary Foundation - several things did not happen:

1- the old Foundation was never closed officially and that caused a lot of confusion - that is rectified now.

2- We never registered as a Charity- and when Maria D looked for the ST-9 in the Fall, Mike F started the process and now we are a registered Charity. That took several months to get a response.

3- The next step was to go on-line and apply for an ST-9 with the charity registration number, and Maria D did that.  The process now takes 90 days which puts us to August for them to approve the request.

 

This should have been done when the Foundation changed names - but water under the bridge - August we should have the ST-9.
