VETERANS HAVEN NORTH GETS AN EARLY DELIVERY FROM "SANTA"
Billy made a huge delivery of "tons" of suits and professional clothes to the Veterans' Haven North. These suits will help our veterans back into the workforce. Never ask Billy if he can find someone or someplace to bring a donation. He is truly our "secret" Santa.
CHRISTMAS PARTY
Speaking of Santa - We are going to have our holiday party on Thursday December, 14 at Stony Brook Grille.
We decided to do a "white elephant" exchange - no more than $20 - its a secret so DON'T write your name on it!!
The time is 6 pm and we need a head count for the restaurant. Rotarians are covered and guests $20. Please get back to Craig about numbers.
FOOD DRIVE
This Saturday 9-3 at the Branchburg ShopRite we will be collecting food for the food bank and money for HOME.
Please get back to KIP for the details and your shift. We would like to have both doors covered so many hands light work. This is so much less time than the shifts at Tex's so everyone needs to get out to spread the cheer!!
THIS WEEK'S MEETING
We will be our presentation of the check for the Listening Program at the Midland School. We will be having guests at the meeting so please plan on attending.
CLUB BOARD MEETING THE 19TH
HUNGER RELIEF
Had the opportunity to drop by the Sunday Pantry this morning and it was hopping. The work that goes into that on a regular basis is amazing. We went to gather some canned goods for the Seniors in Whiton Hills Apartments for Christmas - They are not only gracious, but also generous with their time and talent to get this done every week.
The numbers this week 179 families and 611 people.
Speaking to D'Maris she said she is sometimes concerned that they won't have enough - but in the end - God Provides. They can't say enough nice things about our A-Team and the support provided!!
