Thank you to Diane (and Helen) and Billy- and Frank McSorley (Our Fruit Snack Guy) and the Girl Scouts. For the amazing amount of goodies that went into 75 really cute "bunny bags" They were adorable, and FULL.

So, the count of Spring Fun goes like this:

1- 7 Seniors at Whiton Hills 

2- 20 Kids at HOME

3- 15 Kids at The Learning Gate

4- 55 families at the Presbyterian Church

5- 48 Kids in the Branchburg School District.

 

If you are paying attention - yes that is more than 75.

 

The 7 seniors got Spring goodie bags, supplies and chocolate, and a bag of groceries collected at the Church and delivered by Maria to Junior - who gave them out.  Maria received 3 calls from those people and she will tell us all about that in person. 

There are 15 children at the Learning Gate who are there on "scholarship".  15 extra bags were assembled by Maria and delivered to the Learning Gate. The Director, Christine, was immensely appreciative.  Maria will tell us all about that also.

We learned at the last minute that there are 20 children in the HOME system, and 20 of the 75 bags went there.  Again, the Assistant Director, Ashley, was more than grateful.  Again, Maria will tell us all about that.

48 School Hoodies were combined with chocolate (via Billy) and delivered to the Branchburg Superintendent's office with 2 big cases of Fruit Snacks for daily snack distribution.  Maria met with the assistant to the Superintendent - and she will tell us about that.

55 bags will be given to the Presbyterian Church to distribute 4/8/23 - not working Easter Sunday- but hunger takes no holiday- they worked on Saturday.

 

That is 145 Kids and Families who will have what we consider an excellent day of chocolate and fun.
