IT WAS A BUSY WEEK
Other than the fact that the Devils did not win - we had a great social night at the Devil's Game. Family Bateman, Casucci, Juliano, and Donegan cheered on the Devils. Had dinner at American Whiskey and then the game. Watching little Henry learn to be a Devils fan was the highlight of the night!
MARIA AND ELMER IN COLOMBIA
Maria and Elmer having a great week in Colombia - representing us in all the perfect Rotary Ways. Meeting with the RC Bogota and the Rotoractors, Planting trees, meeting new foundations, following up on surgeries, and the foundation for the deaf, as well as the empowerment program. She covered all the areas of focus in one trip. Bravo!!!
Thank you for sending us photos as you go along. Not a dry eye with the memorial to Dan planted in a forest that will one day be refreshing the earth!!
HUNGER RELIEF
Well I am not even sure how they did this and had anything left for next week - but
251 Families
829 clients
That is a record and in many ways like 2 regular weeks.
Doug and Donna have taken over prepping the food for the Learning Gate on a regular basis.
Maybe we can start to get more involved in this in some way - it looks like hunger is a growing problem.
