World Understanding Month Celebration

 
Ten things you can do in your club to promote world understanding month;
 
  1. Have international speakers
  2. Inviting youth exchange students,
  3. international scholars,
  4. Programs with former Group Study Exchange team members,
  5. Discussing on international related issues and topics,
  6. Inviting local ethnic community leaders,
  7. Presenting entertainment with an international cultural or artistic theme,
  8. Organizing International Theme to raise funds for projects,
  9. Learning about District International Service Projects,
  10. Initiating Rotary Fellowship Exchange, 3-H project, Polio or other Rotary Foundation programs
And most of all getting local newspapers to cover your club’s effort to promote world understanding.
 
World Understanding Month is a great chance for every Rotary member to pause, plan and promote the Fourth Avenue of Service- Rotary's continued quest to promote goodwill, peace and understanding among people of the world. Thank you for making a difference in our community and around the globe.
