Rotary’s Taste of Asia delivers good food for a purpose
 
BRANCHBURG, NJ -- What better way to raise money for the Peace Center than to sample great food from Asia?
 
 
 
This special event “Taste of Asia” is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Branchburg and Friends of Nepal-NJ. More than 150 guests-- sampled food from various Asian countries and enjoyed cultural programs.
 
Thanks to our RVCC Rotaract Club members for hosting this event. RVCC Rotaract club members have been helping to plant trees and cleaning the Peace Center every year at the NJ Buddhist Vihara.
 
 
 
 
Rotary Club Past President and Past District Governor Tulsi  Maharjan, event chair, and their Rotary event team outdid themselves, not only with the tastings, but also with an excellent cultural programs from India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. 
 
 
 
This special event raised more than $10,000 for the Meditation and Peace Center building project.
 
 
More than $25,000 has been raised over the past 5 years of the event.
