The Rotary Club of Branchburg announced the awarding of $12,200 in scholarships that was shared among 14 students.
“We had a tremendous pool of applicants and are excited to have 14 students to be our scholarship winners this year. The scholarship committee was looking for students that demonstrated academic commitment, financial need, leadership and community involvement. All scholarship recipients excelled in the classroom, in community service and held leadership roles in their community. The Branchburg Rotary Scholarship program also presented scholarships in honor of our charter member and community leader Mr. Raymond Bateman. I know they would be proud of this years’ recipients,” said Illen Bradley, Scholarship chair.
