Local Youth Group helped to raise funds for Developing Countries.
Many teens have no interest in the malaria epidemic that plagues many families in Africa, but these teens from Branchburg have a new goal of raising awareness. After learning that malaria is carried by mosquitoes, and that bed nets can help protect families at risk of contracting the disease, their ambition turned into MAGNUM, an organization whose goal is to raise both awareness and money for the cause. As part of their graduation celebration, they hosted a charity band concert at the Somerset Valley YMCA and raised more than $1000 for their cause. The group will donate funds to Nepal Orphan project
