PASSION FOR SERVICE has brought Dan to join the Rotary club of Branchburg.
Daniel E Komissar, born in New York City and raised in New Jersey just joined the Rotary Club of Branchburg.
PASSION FOR SERVICE has brought Dan to join the Rotary club of Branchburg.
He had spent most of his life working in the food service industry and have consulted with various businesses in Staten Island and Arizona. Food and hospitality have been a metaphor for his life. Breaking bread and sharing with people has exposed the richness of culture and diversity to him throughout the years. He is currently pursuing a career in insurance and financial services with the New York Life based out of Edison, New Jersey.
He enjoys music and arts and loves taking landscape photography and writing guitar music. He is also a devoted practitioner of mediation and loves to ride bicycle. He organizes group bike rides to gather different groups together and have them enjoy a day out in a rural area of our great state.
Travelling has shown him the true beauty of this world and speaks Spanish and Italian. He had explored through Latin America and Italy forging connections with the people of those countries.
According to Dan "I hope to grow and embrace service going forward and learn from the network of service minded Rotarians" .
His passion is helping others, which convinced him to join the Rotary whose Motto is "Service Above Self".
Branchburg Rotary is happy his new passion is Rotary and he has been involved in many of the Branchburg Rotary's programs that strive to make the world a better place and improve the lives of those in need.
