BRANCHBURG — Scores of Motor Cycle riders converged on September 15 at the Raritan Valley Community College for the 3rd annual Branchburg Rotary Riders Ride & Fly Festival, an event created to benefit local Veterans groups in Central New Jersey.

The tour featured 35 mile ride, covering scenic Somerset and Hunterdon counties. These routes consisted some of the most scenic sites in central New Jersey, and ended the ride at the Central New Jersey Airport for a picnic and motor cycle raffle.
For families there were plane rides, picnic and special vendors to enjoy.

All rides ended at Central New Jersey Airport, where the picnic, vendors, cold beer truck and plane ride were in full swing with a live music by King Street Dukes.
“Branchburg Riders started three years ago to help our local veterans with the help of local police departments and other county agencies,” ride coordinator Joe Horner said.
“It was a fun atmosphere to kick off Fall on a Sunday, more than 175 riders participated this year’s event” Horner said. “Even people who didn’t ride enjoyed this event tremendously”.

The Branchburg Rotary Riders was established in 2017 to help raise money for the Branchburg Rotary Club’s partnering Veterans organizations, which provides support for many homeless veterans.

We would like to thank all our supporters and sponsor of this special event.
