It was a great day at Leon Springs H-E-B to collect toys for the Methodist Hospital children’s group at Christmas time. The drive is for toys
for children who are in the hospital and would not otherwise receive toys for Christmas. We raised a lot
of cash and had a lot of fun to help the children.
Rotarians Darcee Grivel, Ron Blank, Pilar Colon-Martin, Christina Gutierrez, David Gray, Jim Montgomery, Scotty Scott, and Jack Terrazas helped to solicit toys and donations from HEB Leon Springs shoppers. Special thanks to Darcee Grivel for coordinating. Special appearances by the Leon Springs Volunteer Fire Department with their fire truck and mascot! Mucho thanks to HEB Leon Springs, Mr. Z and Carlos for their great assistance and restocking of the toy aisle!
