Putting for Charity at the Dominion Country Club

First Annual “Putting for Charity” Benefitting Dominion Rotary Foundation

When: March 3, 2022 from 4 pm to 6:30 pm
Where: Dominion Country Club, One Dominion Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78257
Practice Putting Green

Proceeds will benefit The Dominion Rotary Foundation which provides funding for local programs such as the San Antonio Food Bank, Hill Country Bread, Morgan’s Wonderland, Alamo Area Council BSA, Rotary Reads, and other service endeavors.

The putting green will be “dressed” with props supplied by Dan Monroe who has done this decorating for years and is hired by PGA/TPC courses for professional events.
Interact members and Troop 710 members, 2 per hole, will collect golf balls after golfers mark following their first putt. The golf balls will be taken to the next tee box. Depending on the rule for that hole, the marked ball will be either the best or worst putt. Score for the hole will be gross score with max strokes at 3 per hole.
40 Golf “Celebrities” will play, one foursome per hole. The “buy in” for each golfer is $2,500.00.  We encourage getting "sponsorships" at $100 each to do the $2500.

Similar to our Wine, Whiskey, and Cigars events, there will be snacks and a cash bar during the event.
